Lost

Lost is a self portrait I drew, representative of the emotions I was experiencing. The prompt was to draw ourselves as an animal. In the moment I was feeling a little depressed, as it was the beginning of a new season for me, and I felt like a fish. A fish with wonderful things and people around yet feeling isolated and empty. I actually have a slight fear of fish but it has become one of my favorite things to explore in this context. It is a piece I keep coming back to and one that I am revisiting for a current comic book project.
