little moments

This is the first linoleum print that I have done. The bear pauses in the rain to look at the flower, representing how we should pause and enjoy the little moments. First, I sketched in Procreate and then transferred the image onto a linoleum block. After the image was transferred, I began carving the image. The next and final step is to soak the paper, ink the block, and press the two together. The image dries and you are left with a beautiful, clean print. This piece won 3rd place at the John Brown University student works show, in the printmaking category (2026).
